Constructed in 1838 as The Fleckenstein-Coccaro Grocery Store, the property was officially recognized as a historical site in Vicksburg in 2024. Renovation efforts initiated by Dr. F. Lamar McMillin, Jr., who died in 2018, preceded the project's completion. Subsequent ownership by The Flanders' Group in 2023 has continued the pursuit of Dr. McMillin's vision. The property's history, compiled by his wife, Carol McMillin, reflects its significance.
